



Photorealism is often treated as the defining measure of architectural visualization.
It matters. Materials must behave convincingly. Light needs to feel natural. People, landscape, furnishings, reflections, and surrounding context should belong in the same visual world.
But realism alone does not determine whether an image is successful.

Human figures are especially important. They explain how a space is used, but they also influence how the development is perceived.
