Since 2007
Founded in 2007 as a boutique architectural visualization studio, we quickly found our niche focusing on high-end luxury interiors and exteriors for design-build & marketing. We have extensive experience rendering 3d images, animations, and virtual experiences for residential developments, hotels, restaurants and the gaming industry. We work closely with developers, designers, and architects throughout the design process to ensure the 3d images and animations we deliver meets their upmost expectations. Our attention to detail in the composition of our images not only sell the design, but we elevate your images by adding extra details to convey the emotions tied to the design aesthetics. Our clients appreciate the great communication and commitment over the duration of a project.
We understand that the renderings in a proposal carry multiple purposes. Early phases can be to ensure effective design communication between designer and client, later versions can be used for marketing. Whether Studio inHaus is working from concept sketches or final Revit models, we know how to balance deliverables to maximize efficiency in the early phases whilst maintaining a momentum to deliver stunning final product at the finish.
Thomas Livings
Co-Founder | Managing Director
Thomas has 15+ years experience in creating digital renditions of unbuilt space. Starting his career as an architect, he moved into architectural rendering full-time in 2001. After moving up the ranks at several firms he founded his own studio in 2007 and it has blossomed into Studio InHaus. Thomas’ guidance of the company aesthetic draws equally from his own appreciation of photography, his grasp of current technology and the relentless client led demands upon the everyday workflow in a rendering studio. His strengths include inspirational leadership of the team, an eye for the immaculate and his extensive production experience. His weakness is his inability to say no.
Putting work aside, Thomas likes spending time with his family, woodwork, cycling and appreciating craft beverages. Usually in that order.
Laarni Livings
Co-Founder | Business Operations
As Operations manager, Laarni is responsible for all the behind the scenes logistics that has enabled and sustained the growth of the company. She wears many hats including HR, payroll & benefit administration, finance, marketing, and strategy. Growing up in Chicago, she has a true appreciation for architecture and design and with her background in marketing design she sometimes consults on image composition when needed. On a few occasions, she has also been called on by a few clients to design signage and logos.
